I love a good party, and I'm in luck because this time of year it seems there are more parties than ever. Everyone's hosting dinners and holiday parties and making plans to go ice skating. I love any little event that takes me out of the drudgery of normal life. A chance to do my hair and wear a festive outfit? Count me in. A reason to sip champagne with my friends? Already there, pal. An opportunity to make cookies and bring them to someone's house? Talk about my idea of a good time.
But celebration doesn't have to mean a big party. It can be small, like rewarding yourself with takeout Thai food and a good movie. Or taking your dog for an extra long walk. Or drinking coffee with your roommate in the morning. All these things can be a celebration. Including, and maybe most importantly, scrolling a good old-fashioned meme list.
